Na Djurali Retreats
The Na Djurali (Nah Ju-rah-lee] Retreats, are created to help you learn and immerse yourself in First Nations’ cultural practice, deepen your ability to live present, to help you to de-tox from the busyness of life, to disconnect from technology and reconnect to yourself and nature.
Community
In the First Nations context, community holds profound significance as a cornerstone of cultural identity, resilience, and kinship. It embodies interconnectedness, mutual support, and the preservation of traditions passed down through generations. The concept of community extends beyond human relationships to encompass a deep reverence for the land, animals, and natural elements, reflecting a harmonious coexistence with the environment. This interconnectedness forms the foundation for decision-making processes, governance structures, and collective responsibility, fostering a sense of unity and purpose within First Nations communities.
Connection
Connection transcends mere proximity, it embodies a profound interweaving of spiritual, cultural and ancestral ties. Moreover, it serves as the foundation for storytelling, ceremonies, and shared experiences, weaving a tapestry of unity that strengthens the fabric of First Nations societies.
Corporate Camps
1-7 nights
Focusing on leadership and sustainability, our Corporate Camps prioritize integrating cultural practices into professional settings. Cultural epistemology emphasizes the relationship between cultural practices and knowledge, influencing the worldview and interactions of First Nations people. We strongly believe that implementing these value systems in a corporate environment is highly advantageous.
By fostering mindfulness, and building connections to kinship, ceremony, cultural practices, and language, we are able to come back to basics and translate these learnings in the workplace.
Educational Camps
1-7 nights
Students and practitioners will get an opportunity to immerse themselves in cultural practice and deepen their connection to the land, sea and sky through the cultural lense of first nations people.
